>I have been practicing orthodontics for almost 30 years. Before becoming an orthodontist however, I worked hard throughout college and dental school to make sure that I received the highest quality education and training. I can’t think of any other career that I would love more than orthodontics! My job as an orthodontist gives me a great sense of satisfaction and pride. My team is wonderful; they are supportive of each other and our patients, and it is very rewarding to watch my team build close relationships with the people we treat.
When I’m away from the office, I enjoy keeping up with the latest advances in various sciences, and doing all of the things that make me smile! I am originally from Dallas, and have lived in McAllen for over 25 years. My wife, Becky, and I have been married for almost 40 years and we have one grown daughter named Megan. We also have two dogs, Cookie and Lilly Put, and a cat, Max. In my free time, I enjoy studying astronomy, flying, hiking, organic gardening, looking for fossils and arrowheads, and creating exhibits for education purposes. I also like building metal sculptures. My latest sculpture is called “Winded Runners” which will soon be on display at one of McAllen’s linear park trails.
