Dana Schultz
As our office manager, Dana oversees marketing and helps ensure the office maintains a welcoming, positive atmosphere for both patients and staff. She began her career in orthodontics 47 years ago, driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Dana has been with McAllen Orthodontic Group for 40 of those years and truly enjoys getting to know patients and seeing their smiles. She looks forward to working with the team every day.
Dana is married to Steve and has two grown children, Lawrence and Jessica, along with two grandchildren she adores. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren.
Melissa Reyes
Melissa has managed patient treatment at McAllen Orthodontic Group for many years. She enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and finds it incredibly rewarding to see their smile transformations.
Working closely with Dr. Ryan has helped Melissa grow both personally and professionally. She values the kindness, generosity, and respect within the practice and credits her experience here with building her confidence.
Melissa is married to Mario and has two grown children, J.D. and Zalika. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching movies, traveling, camping, going to the beach, riding motorcycles, and target shooting.
Lucy Ortega
Lucy answers phones, schedules appointments, and helps keep the office running smoothly. She takes pride in knowing the work the team does makes a positive difference in patients’ lives.
The team environment feels like family, and Lucy enjoys spending time with coworkers both in and out of the office.
Lucy lives in McAllen with her husband Juan. They have two daughters, Dulce and Paola, two granddaughters, and a corgi named Fonzy. She enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Amanda Garza
Amanda helps new patients feel comfortable and works with Dr. Ryan to review treatment plans with patients and parents. She has been a proud member of the team since 1988 and loves helping patients feel confident about their smiles.
Her time at McAllen Orthodontic Group has taught her the importance of patience and listening carefully to patient needs.
Amanda has lived in Mission her entire life. She is married to Homer and has two children, Andres and Sophia, along with a miniature Schnauzer named Roxy. She enjoys crafting, walking her dog, and participating in activities through her church.
Jenny Hernandez
Jenny works in the lab, where she makes retainers and appliances and manages retention patients. She has worked in orthodontics for 41 years, including 25 years with McAllen Orthodontic Group.
Jenny still finds excitement in seeing patients achieve beautiful smiles.
She lives in McAllen and has three dogs: a Chihuahua named Jenna, a Yorkie named Xinna, and a Dachshund named Frida. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, dancing, and reading.
Aurora Davila
Aurora has been a member of the McAllen Orthodontic Group team since 2013. She handles billing and insurance and truly enjoys working with patients.
She has been married to Rudy for 36 years and treasures her family, including her children Isaiah, R.J., Nyssa, and her son-in-law Eddie.
Aurora enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, hosting barbecues, and going for walks.
Jill
Jill is grateful to work with a team she considers family. She finds her role incredibly rewarding and enjoys helping patients bring out their best smiles.
Seeing patients gain confidence through their smile transformations is what she loves most about her work.
Jill has been married to her husband Adolfo, a U.S. Marine veteran, for 25 years. They have two daughters, Emily and Abby. Jill is passionate about nature, wildlife, conservation, and sea turtles. She is also active in her daughter’s school booster clubs and shares her home with four mini schnauzers.
Alondra Urrea
Alondra is honored to be part of the McAllen Orthodontic Group team. She finds each day to be a new learning experience and enjoys seeing patients work toward their smile goals.
She is grateful for the opportunity to work with Dr. Ryan and values the supportive team environment.
In her free time, Alondra enjoys spending time with family, traveling, going to the beach, watching sunsets, going to the gym, and relaxing with her Chihuahua, Mila.
Nora Hernandez
Nora describes her time at McAllen Orthodontic Group as a blessing and considers the team her work family. She finds great joy in seeing patients’ smiles at the end of treatment.
She has been married to her husband Ruben for 25 years and has two sons, Diego and Dano, who keep the family busy with baseball. They also have an 8-year-old Shih Tzu named Max.
Kelian Fowler
Kelian is a Registered Dental Assistant and graduate of The College of Healthcare Professions. As a former patient, she is excited to now be part of the team she once admired.
She finds fulfillment in being part of patients’ journeys from the beginning of treatment to their final smile transformation.
Outside the office, Kelian enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and her four dogs. She is grateful for this new chapter and proud to contribute to the care provided at McAllen Orthodontic Group.
